The launch ceremony of an online campaign to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at Xinhua Daily Press Group on March 23.

The online cerebration is organized by the Cyberspace Administration of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Zhang Aijun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the beginning of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), and the start of embarking on a journey to fully build a modern socialist China.

The online celebration will include 11 events throughout the year. At the launch ceremony, leading officials from relevant departments in Jiangsu issued certificates of employment to experts who will help in a CPC history learning and education campaign.
