The Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Trade Unions will launch a program to improve healthcare support to female workers this year, including opening 1,000 service stations.
Based on the current mother and child healthcare program, Jiangsu will expand the service to gradually cover more health needs of female workers in the program named after the flower carnation.

Featuring the same Logo and VI designs, the planned stations will be supported by volunteers at the provincial, city and county levels, coordinated events, and easy-to-access service to safeguard women’s rights. The federation will also cooperate with the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission to empower women with knowledge and skills in many fields, such as mental and physical health and law.
Cervical and breast cancers are the most common cancers for women. Last year, the federation, in partnership with the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, launched free cervical and breast cancers screening, which have benefited over 95,600 women. This year, the service will be expanded to cover female delivery workers, couriers and ride-hailing car drivers.
