The 2025 World Taekwondo Championships will be held from October 24 to 30 at Taihu International Expo Center in Wuxi City.

First launched in 1973, the championships take place every two years and are recognized as the largest and most prestigious taekwondo competition worldwide.

The official logo of the Wuxi 2025 event takes its inspiration from the concept of flow, symbolizing the seamless combination of movement, power, and precision inherent in the sport. The design also resembles a soaring kick, capturing one of taekwondo’s most iconic techniques.

This year’s event is expected to attract over 2,000 participants from nearly 200 countries and regions. In addition to the main competition, a series of sideline activities will also be organized, including a taekwondo-themed expo and academic forums.
