Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang have jointly released 17 measures to support the eco-friendly development pilot zone that spearheads the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
This marked the second batch of such support policy after the first 22 measures were introduced in July 2020. The new measures cover 10 areas such as scientific and technological innovation, business environment, talent flow, and territorial space use.
The measures make it clear to support the establishment of cross-provincial high-tech development areas, promote the cooperation between the pilot zone and universities from home and abroad to inspire innovation, and accelerate the development of the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Centre in the pilot zone.
Efforts will be made to recognize electronic licenses across regions and sectors in order to provide efficient and convenient services for market players.
Meanwhile, Customs authorities of the three regions will establish a collaborative supervision system for cross-border e-commerce, enhance the customs transit, and expand the scope of a pilot project.
According to the measures, the three regions will also formulate a policy framework to advance vocational education reform.
