Wu Zhenglong, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, recently met with Chen Yun, chairman of China Railway Group Limited (CREC) in Nanjing.

Wu said CREC is a strong company with advanced technology and one of the world's largest engineering contractors. CREC has maintained good cooperation with Jiangsu over the years and actively promoted the province’s high-quality development.

Wu called for further cooperation in major infrastructure projects such as high-speed railway, urban rail transit system, bridges or tunnels across the Yangtze River, highways, and equipment manufacturing amid efforts to create a new development pattern and advance high-quality growth.

Noting CREC is accelerating efforts to become a world-class enterprise, Chen said the company will give full play to its advantages and actively participate in the economic and social development of Jiangsu.
