Nanjing University of the Arts will host a graduation carnival on May 20, with nearly 70 activities open to the public for free.
Li Tong, vice president of the university, said the opening day will feature some 30 activities, such as an exhibition of fine arts works, a concert, a dance performance, a fashion show, a bazaar of handicraft works, and outdoor multimedia installations.
The carnival will highlight works created by graduates using technological elements, including a metaverse exhibition, a workshop of mechanical devices applying interdisciplinary subjects, and a visual art exhibition about winners of the National Natural Science Award.
In addition, this year's event will continue to incorporate cultural and educational topics, such as a Grand Canal-themed photography exhibition, a show of educational achievements in integrating intangible cultural heritage crafts with the entrepreneurship and innovation campaign, and an exhibition about joint rural projects .
