Wuxi resumes flight to Singapore

Wuxi Shuofang International Airport resumed its passenger route to Singapore on August 29 with the departure of flight HO1561.

The service now operates four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with departures from Wuxi at 20:40 and return flights from Singapore at 03:15. The first flights recorded strong demand, with load factors close to 90% from Wuxi to Singapore and 98% on the return leg.

With this addition, the airport now operates nine international and regional routes, including Osaka, Seoul, Jeju, Nha Trang, Bangkok and Sihanoukville.

So far this year, 579,000 people have entered or exited China through the airport, a year-on-year increase of 7.78%. The airport has handled more than 5,300 inbound and outbound flights, up 6.69% from the previous year.
