Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province has recently introduced its progress in developing major agricultural and rural projects, including the largest pig farm in Jiangsu Province and a flower cultivation project.
The pig farm by Jiucheng Animal Husbandry started construction in April this year with a total investment of 200 million yuan. Covering an area of 1,300 mu, the farm can have an annual pig slaughter of about 40,000 and 2,000 sows, making it the biggest in the coastal province. The farm will adopt advanced pig health management system and realize automation in rearing and reproduction.
