Taizhou City has rolled out 22 measures to assist the service sector to tide over the COVID-19 epidemic.
The exemption policy for real-estate tax and urban land use tax in 2022 will be extended to sectors of accommodation, catering, culture, sports, entertainment, transportation, tourism, retail and storage industries.
Tourism companies hit hard by the epidemic will be allowed to defer the payment of unemployment and work-related injury insurance premiums for a period of no more than one year, according to the measures.
Taizhou will also guide financial institutions to provide more loan products for small and medium-sized enterprises and individual businesses in the service industry, and allow preferential interest rates.
For small and micro enterprises and individual businesses that rent property from state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and public intuitions, the rent can be reduced or exempted for 3 months.
