The 2025 Jiangsu Green and Low-Carbon Building International Expo held in Nanjing has showcased advanced sustainable construction technologies and innovative smart home products.

Covering an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters, the expo attracted more than 100 domestic and international companies and institutions. On display were solutions to build efficiently, such as facades that can generate electricity, efficient ground-source heat pump systems, and products for eco-friendly living spaces.

The automated production of wall panels attracted many visitors at the expo. Compared to traditional methods, the intelligent construction offers significant advantages, reducing construction time by 50% and building waste by 80%.

GoodWe, a world-leading PV inverter manufacturer and smart energy solution provider, showcased the results of using PV panels for the 6,570.8 sqm façade of a building in Suzhou. The system generates an annual electricity output of 740,000 kilowatt-hours, equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by 16,867 tonnes. According to Wang Yingge, vice president of the company, these PV panels have been widely applied in many places across the country.

The exhibition area focusing on housing renovation also highlighted green building materials and demonstrated showrooms, inviting visitors to experience age-friendly modular spaces and emerging technological products.

The exhibition also featured a comprehensive healthcare solution centered on Huawei's AI solutions. For example, sensors can assist in monitoring the health status of the elderly and patients, sending tiered alerts and conducting unobtrusive detection to protect privacy of users.
