Layout of Xiamen Garden

Xiamen Garden, the first city-themed exhibition garden in 2021 Yangzhou International Horticultural Exposition, has recently kicked off the construction, Jiangsu media reported on July 8.

The garden covering an area of 1,500 square meters has a mixture of plant scenery and garden ornaments, showcasing both the traditional culture and modern dynamics of Xiamen City of Fujian Province.

Beijing, Chengdu, Shenyang and Taiyuan are among cities that have all confirmed the planning and design of city-themed gardens during the expo. Meanwhile, visitors will also see distinctive gardens that feature elements of Roma, Barcelona, Japan and Sydney.

It is also estimated that Xiamen Garden will finish building around November 15.
