The 4th G60 Yangtze River Delta Sci-tech Innovation Valley Talent Summit opened in Suzhou on September 27, introducing measures to boost cross-regional cooperation.
The G60 Science and Innovation program was launched in 2016 and named after the G60 expressway passing through the Yangtze River Delta region.
The event unveiled a framework agreement on the exchange and cooperation of talent services. Efforts will be made to establish a joint conference system for talent service agencies, deepen cooperation in sharing intellectual resources, strengthen cooperation for talent recruitment, and support employment and trainee internships of college graduates.
The pilot zone for integrated eco-friendly development of Yangtze River Delta also announced progress of its post-doctoral research workstation, which has so far enrolled 44 postdoctoral researchers since its establishment in November 2021.
In addition, the summit also led to cross-regional cooperation between eight universities and enterprises, and the establishment of high-end talent introduction alliance. It also published 15,000 job offers for high-end and urgently needed professionals.
Suzhou is the only city in Jiangsu participating in the G60 Science and Innovation program. It has been ranked as one of the most attractive Chinese cities for foreigners for 10 consecutive years.
