The 4th Grand Canal Culture and Tourism Expo held in Suzhou City from September 22 to 25 attracted more 100,000 visits in-person and 370 million online views.
The expo consisted of 13 activities in five sections including the opening ceremony, the night tour of the ancient canal, exhibitions, forums and interactive experiences.

The expo's six exhibitions, including the Canal City Cultural Tourism Show and the Encounter of the Silk Road and the Grand Canal, had exhibitors from more than 20 countries, with preliminary deals worth 40 million yuan reached onsite.
The expo also featured a digital platform with more than 2,200 exhibitors, which facilitated meetings and deals for more than 500 buyers. The online platform received 200 million views and helped ink deals worth 146 million yuan.
