Jiangsu’s NPC deputies back to position after annual session

After the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, concluded its annual session on March 11 in Beijing, deputies from Jiangsu returned to their positions.

The NPC deputies actively contributed their ideas during the annual session with 19 proposals and 476 suggestions, a progress both in quantity and quality compared to previous years. They also acted strictly in line with the requirements and protocols to show a great work style.

Deputies said, under the guide of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, efforts will be made to implement the spirit of President Xi’s important speeches during his inspection of Jiangsu, align with the latest development planning and decisions, further improve measures, and make greater contribution at the starting point on a new journey to fully building a modern socialist China.
