The Department of Culture and Tourism of Jiangsu Province and Huai'an government launched a program to boost nighttime economy at Zhongzhou Islet in the city’s Qingjiangpu Scenic Area on August 3.
From June to December, Jiangsu will organize a campaign to support small and micro businesses in the culture and tourism sectors, stimulate consumer spending through a series of measures, and also start building the second batch of pilot zones that enjoy easier mobile payment solutions, an initiative in partnership with China UnionPay.
The event also unveiled nearly 200 promotion activities and more than 80 measures to benefit visitors at 45 nightlife destinations, recognized at the national and provincial levels.
