The direct flight between Nantong City in East China’s Jiangsu Province and the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) resumed on June 23 amid tight measures to prevent and control COVID-19.
This marked the first passenger flight that Nantong has reopened since the pandemic outbreak. There will two flights each on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Local authorities have stepped up efforts to ensure smooth customs clearance for passengers while comprehensive COVID-19 response measures are put into practice.
