Suzhou-based company AISpeech has been recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology to develop its open platform for next-generation AI, adding a new national-level research platform in the coastal province.

AISpeech, a leading speech technology platform company, will focus on scientific and technological breakthroughs in key areas related to cross-media data analytics and hope to further empower the digital economy.

The Ministry of Science and Technology has been supporting innovation platforms for next-generation AI since August 2019, which cover fields of medical imaging, autonomous driving, basic software and hardware, and computer vision.

AISpeech boasts independent intellectual property rights for the human-computer dialogue operating system. Integrating more than 900 patents, the company’s products have been used in fields of smart cars and consumer electronics, financial service, transportation and logistics, real estate and hotels, government affairs, medical treatment and healthcare.

With more than 50 universities and institutes involved in AI research, Jiangsu takes the lead in machine learning, pattern recognition and data mining, laying solid foundation for scientific breakthrough.
