The second batch of 122 medics from Jiangsu Province, sent to combat the COVID-19 outbreak in Huangshi City of Hubei Province, returned to the Nanjing Lukou International Airport on the afternoon of March 28, ending a challenging mission for 47 days since February 11.
Entrusted by Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Committee, Jiangsu Governor Wu Zhenglong greeted the returned medical workers at the airport.
By now, all 362 medics sent to Huangshi have returned to Jiangsu.
On March 17, 362 medics from the team were honored as honorary citizens of Huangshi by the city’s government.
