The list was compiled through a rigorous process, including recommendations, expert evaluations, and public disclosure to solicit people’s opinions. It features 28 items focused on food and drinks, such as Guihuaya (Nanjing salted duck that has a sweet osmanthus scent), 13 traditional art projects and 19 traditional crafts. Notably, 21 of these provincial ICH items have also been recognized at the national level.
