The box office revenues in Jiangsu Province exceeded 716 million yuan during the week-long Spring Festival holiday, accounting for nearly 12% of the national total (over 6 billion yuan) and ranking first in the country.  

The coastal province reported 13,09 million moviegoers, or one-seventh of its population, during the holiday from January 31 to February 6.  

The ticket sales in Suzhou, Nanjing and Wuxi claimed the top three spots, with box office of 120 million yuan, 89.18 million yuan and 76.19 million yuan respectively.   

Among the eight domestic films during the holiday, the three most popular in Jiangsu are the sequel to the 2021 war blockbuster "The Battle at Lake Changjin", the comedy "Too Cool To Kill" and the feature film "Nice View," which saw ticket sales of 326 million yuan, 158 million yuan and 66.54 million yuan respectively.
