Lianyungang City saw 1.76 million trips during the May Day holiday from May 1 to May and tourism revenue generated during the period totaled 2.46 billion yuan.
The coastal city’s 16 scenic spots reported 435,300 trips and a ticket revenue of about 5.64 million yuan, which marked an encouraging tourism rebound as coronavirus eases.
The number of trips to scenic areas of Huaguo Mountain (Flower-Fruit Mountain), Xishuang Lake, Liandao islet, Crystal Culture and Tourism Zone, Yueyadao Wetland, and Kongwang Mountain reached 47,900, 90,800, 51,100, 47,000, 37,500, and 36,200, respectively. Other tourist attractions including Yuwan, Haishan Yuntaishan, Yidianyuan, Qingsongling Forest Park and Taohuajian saw 27,100, 26,900, 18,800, 17,200 and 14,700 trips, respectively.
