The 11th Jiangsu (Shengze) Textile Expo is underway in Shengze International Convention Center in Wujiang District, Suzhou City from October 25 to 27.

Shengze Town, a barometer of China's fashion market, has built a full-fledged silk and textile industry with a robust supply chain.

The expo has nearly 650 exhibition booths in an area of 25,000 square meters. It features businesses from raw materials to machinery, fabrics, design, customized service and procurement.

The town also held the 2022 China National Apparel Conference on October 25, attracting the participation of nearly 500 business leaders at home and abroad.

The China Womenswear Design Competition was also held during this period, providing opportunities for designers to showcase their talents.

In addition, an exhibition of traditional weaving, dyeing and embroidery techniques opened at Shengze Cultural Center on October 25. It features traditional craftmanship from different regions and ethnic groups as well as digital transformation practices.
