Four regions in Jiangsu Province have been recognized on a list of 100 rural vitalization exemplary counties in China in 2022, according to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

The four pilot regions are Kunshan City, Tongshan District in Xuzhou City, Yixing City, and Yandu District in Yancheng City.

Counties honoured on the list should elevate the industrial base in rural areas, modernize the industrial chain, and cultivate high-quality talent, according to the ministry.

Efforts should also be made to advance rural social governance, establish innovative platforms to boost the supply of quality cultural products, and accelerate the integrated development of urban and rural areas.
