The Jiangsu International Agriexpo 2021 is scheduled to open at the Lianyungang Industrial Exhibition Centre from Oct 29 to 31.

Under the theme of International Investment and Trade Cooperation in Agriculture, the fair, for the first time, will include an international zone.

With an exhibition area of 17,000 sqm, the event highlights agricultural products at 120 booths in Hall 1 and those from abroad in Hall 2, which has 261 booths.

The international zone will display products recognized in the EU geographical indications system and from members of the Economic & Commercial Counselors Alliance in China (ECCAC), and also host livestreaming e-commerce programs. Jiangsu will facilitate the promotion of overseas agricultural specialties through a supply-demand matchmaking meeting by the ECCAC.

In addition, as 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the sister-state relationship between Jiangsu and California, the fair will feature an online promotion of produces from the western state in the United States.

The online platform of Agriexpo 2021 has already attracted 4,012 companies and will play an active role in promoting the exchange and negotiations in the business community.
