At Xinhai Senior High School, Wu paid tribute to teachers and also hoped teachers can nurture more talents for the country, act as a good guide for students, and help students make overall progress in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetical grounding.
Wu said it’s important to continue the epidemic prevention and control measures at schools, improve health monitoring on a daily basis, and guide students to follow good hygiene practices.
Wu stressed that efforts are needed to promote the social norms of respecting teachers and valuing education, improve the quality of teaching, offer more after-school services, and advance educational equity.
