Jiangsu’s macroeconomic index, which gauges confidence of enterprises, reached 90.3 in November, the highest this year and also 5.4 points higher than in October, according to the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Statistics.
The bureau releases macroeconomic monitoring data to analyze the growth health and development trend. The latest data showed Jiangsu’s economic and social development continues to operate within the normal range, with progress made in all three indicators.
Among the 13 indicators to show the macroeconomic index, positive growth was reported in most of them, including general public budget expenditure, total import and export, and electricity consumption. This also showed the economic growth back on track following the COVID-19 disruption earlier this year.
