The second International Conference on Youth Development in Cities along BRI Routes was held in Lianyungang City of Jiangsu Province on November 10.

Representatives from youth organizations in 25 cities across nine countries participated in the conference with the aim of promoting exchange and cooperation in various fields within the BRI framework.

The conference saw the launch of the Association for BRI Cities Youth Organization Cooperation. It plans to build a consultative mechanism for youth development, organize regular roundtables to discuss youth participation in BRI projects, and provide various services to the community.

Furthermore, the association will facilitate people-to-people and cultural exchanges, especially in the areas of innovation, digital economy and volunteerism. It plans to support youth engagement in entrepreneurship, establish overseas talent workstations, offer training and internship opportunities and organize e-commerce competitions.
