Yilin Press has received a letter of thanks from the Chinese Embassy in Belgium in recognition of its support to the launch ceremony of the Dutch edition of Forget Me held at the China Cultural Center in Brussels on August 17.

With the coordination of the embassy, Yilin Press, a division of the Nanjing-based Phoenix Publishing and Media Group, reached an agreement with Borgerhoff & Lamberigts in October 2021 for the Dutch edition.

This book written by Xu Feng in 16 years tells the story of Qian Xiuling, who managed to save lives of 110 Belgians in World War II. The author interviewed descendants and friends of the legendary woman, who was born in Jiangsu Province in 1912 and later studied chemistry in Belgium.

The Chinese edition of the book, published by Yilin Press in April 2021, has won critical acclaim and was shortlisted for the "Good Chinese Books 2021" in the literature and arts category.

The book has been translated into French, Russian, Arabic and Serbian languages, with the traditional Chinese edition to be published in the near future.

In recent years, Yilin Press has formed a close connection with literary critics, scholars, authors, and top literary magazines in the world. It has worked with over 130 publishing houses in more than 40 countries, involving 36 languages.
