The International Horticultural Exposition 2021 Yangzhou held a cornerstone laying ceremony on August 4 at its construction site for seven foreign gardens as featured outdoor displays.
The event is the highest level and the most influential and professional exposition on ornamental plants and the entire horticultural industry. The latest edition will take place in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province with the theme of “Green City, Healthy Life”.
Invited by the World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation Organization (WCCO), the seven parks have confirmed their appearances at the event and will represent St. Petersburg, Bangkok, Djibouti, the World Green Design Organization, Portugal-China Tourism and others.
Participants include the Russia-China Belt & Road Strategic Development Research Association, the Thailand Cultural and Economic Exchange Association, the Djibouti National Investment Promotion Agency, the World Green Design Organization, the Portugal-China Tourism Association, and the South Korea-China Cultural Friendship Association. Two other participants, representing the Ethiopian and the Spanish New Silk Road Association, will exhibit their parks in the indoor international pavilion.
