The China Carbon Emission Registration and Clearing in Wuhan City, the data center for China's national carbon market, has announced the launch of the country’s first blockchain-based carbon asset alliance dedicated to agriculture.
This system is built on the NewSpiral blockchain platform independently developed by Jinninghui Technology, a startup based in the Industrial Technology Research and Innovation Park in Jiangbei New Area, Nanjing. It enables full-lifecycle traceability and reliable management of carbon asset data across agriculture.
This innovative platform will integrate industrial and financial resources, promote cross-sector and cross-regional collaboration in carbon asset applications, and inject new momentum into the carbon trading and carbon finance markets. It also has the potential to be applied in other industry-specific sectors.
The park provides 5 million square metres of scientific research facilities and has incubated 514 high-tech enterprises, including 24 listed companies.
Jinninghui Technology, founded in November 2018, specialises in the research, development and application of blockchain technologies.
