Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, opened its Changzhou subsidiary in the China-Europe (Changzhou) International Cooperation Industrial Park for Testing and Certification on December 22.

Changzhou is home to booming industries of new materials, photovoltaic solar energy, life science and healthcare, general aviation and sensors, which contribute to over 60 percent of the output value generated by industrial enterprises above designated size.

Intertek’s Changzhou branch, with 3,000 square meters of floor space, has built laboratories related to the transport technology and petrochemical industry, providing tests of new energy safety and materials performance. The company plans to introduce more services to meet the development needs of the chemical industry belt along the Yangtze River.
