Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Committee, met a delegation led by Sukanto Tanoto, founder and chairman of Singapore group Royal Golden Eagle (RGE), in Nanjing on June 18.
Lou welcomed RGE’s decision to expand investment and deepen cooperation in Jiangsu Province and appreciated Tanoto’s active contribution to China’s philanthropic sector and COVID-19 response as a leader of overseas Chinese.
Tanoto thanked the support of the CPC Jiangsu Committee and Jiangsu government, saying the province stands out for precise, efficient efforts against the pandemic, strong industrial supporting capacity and sound economic and social development.
They also witnessed the signing of RGE’s new projects in Liyang City and Rugao County, which involve a total investment of over 50 billion yuan.
