Jiangsu Province has highlighted its strengths in textile and manufacturing sectors at the first China International Consumer Products Expo, which kicked off in Haikou, the capital of south China's Hainan Province on May 6.
The event has attracted 648 overseas companies and 1,365 brands from 69 countries and regions, as well as 857 enterprises and 1,263 brands from China.
Among the Jiangsu exhibitors, seven companies are specialized in textile, clothing and consumer electronics, and 13 are of large supermarkets or e-commerce platforms.
Jiangsu has showcased the top brands under the theme of a quality life and new consumption. The coastal province has played a key role in promoting the new economic development paradigm of "dual circulation," in which domestic and overseas markets reinforce each other, with the domestic market as the mainstay.
