Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND), founded in 1992, plans to launch a zero-carbon technology industrial park, Jiangsu media reported on 7Apr.

The new park of 22 square kilometers, to be located at the Taihu Bay S&T Town, will highlight the research and development of zero and low carbon technologies, technology transfer and commercialization.

Gradually, the park is expected to stimulate green and high-quality development in the whole district over an area of 220 square kilometers.

The park’s plan will feature five key targets including a cluster of zero carbon technology industries, a service platform and a low carbon residential community.
