The moment a truck carrying over 300 international packages parked at the Nanjing Service Center of DHL Express at 9:20 on January 21, a team of workers wearing personal protective equipment rushed to spray disinfectants around the vehicle.

Before unloading the packages, the team went further to disinfect the inside of the vehicle and then closed the space for 20 minutes to reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.

Zhang Xiang, operation manager for the Jiangsu area of DHL Express, said packaging boxes have been disinfected on all six sides before the distribution. The delivery service provider also used a bathtub-like container to disinfect documents.
