New association boosts cooperation of think tanks in Jiangsu

Wang Yanwen, member of the standing committee of the CPC Jiangsu Committee and director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jiangsu Committee, unveiled the Jiangsu Think Tanks Association of China Economy in Nanjing on June 18.

Initiated by the Yangtze Institute of Industrial Economy at the Nanjing University, the new association has the participation of 18 research agencies including the Jiangsu Strategy and Development Research Center under the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission and the media research arm of Xinhua Daily.

The new research institute will bring together a variety of experts and facilitate the cooperation of different institutes to study economic issues and practices across Jiangsu and the broader Yangtze River Delta, exploring new research efforts to serve the country’s economic development.
