The 3rd China (Huai'an) International Food Expo opened in the city’s International Food Expo Center on the morning of October 15, attracting 336 enterprises from home and abroad to bring more than 10,000 kinds of food.

The fair included five halls dedicated to different themes with a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters. In addition to full information of participating companies, the online exhibition also supports livestreaming, negotiations, exchanges and other business activities.

The expo also facilitated the introduction of 25 food projects to Huai’an including 7 foreign-funded projects with a total investment of $969 million, 17 domestic projects worth 17.696 billion yuan and one project of strategic cooperation.

Organizers of the event also increased efforts to invite 94 foreign exhibitors. Over the years, the city has gradually built a reputation for leading food enterprises and quality products.
