A direct flight route was launched on September 21, connecting the city of Changzhou in Jiangsu Province with Tokyo, Japan.

The outbound flight departs from Changzhou Benniu International Airport at 10:55 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrives in Tokyo at 15:00 local time. The return flight departs Tokyo at 16:00 and lands in Changzhou at 19:00.

These direct flights significantly reduce travel time for passengers from Changzhou and the surrounding areas.

Changzhou and Japan enjoy close economic and trade relations along with frequent personnel exchanges. Currently, Japan is the second-largest source of foreign investment and the fourth-largest trade partner of Changzhou. To date, Changzhou boasts over 640 Japanese-funded enterprises and actual foreign investment exceeding $3 billion. Changzhou has also invested in 40 projects in Japan, with a total agreed investment of $110 million.
