Wuxi resumes direct flight with Osaka after 3 years

Flight ZH8073 of Shenzhen Airlines took off from Sunan Shuofang International Airport on the morning of April 6, marking the resumption of the direct passenger flight between Wuxi and Osaka, Japan after a suspension of three years.

Ms. Gu, a passenger from Zhangjiagang City, said she used about two hours to arrive at the airport to take this direct flight. Last time, she had to make a transfer in Seoul, a journey that took about nearly 24 hours to reach Japan.

The flight from Wuxi to Osaka departs at 8:00, with a flight time of 2 hours and 10 minutes. The return flight departs at 12:10 and arrives in Wuxi at 2:20 pm. The one-way air ticket in the current promotion period is about 2,400 yuan, including tax.

At the airport, another passenger, Ms. Wang, was preparing to fly to Hong Kong. She also said she looks forward to visiting Osaka again by the direct flight, a plan cancelled for three years because of the pandemic.
