Recently, Jiangsu has reopened a number of international flights that were suspended due to the pandemic and also increased the flight frequencies on some routes.

The flight between Changzhou City and Nha Trang, Vietnam resumed operation on June 30 after a 3-year absence, marking Changzhou's second international flight back on track. There will be seven flights per week between the two cities, with services on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays operated by VietJet Air as well as flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays operated by Vietnam Airlines.

On June 25, Thai Lion Air resumed flights between Changzhou Benniu International Airport and Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok. There are four flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, respectively. The flight departs from Bangkok at 13:40 and arrives in Changzhou at 18:45. The return flight departs from Changzhou at 20:25 and arrives in Bangkok at 23:35.

This followed the four flights by Thai Vietjet Air reconnecting Changzhou Benniu International Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok's main airport, in March. As a result, there are now eight flights per week between Changzhou and Bangkok.

June 27 marked the resumption of the passenger flight service between Sunan Shuofang International Airport, an airport serving the cities of Wuxi and Suzhou in southern Jiangsu, and Incheon International Airport, the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area. So far, Sunan Shuofang has resumed five international (regional) passenger routes to Hong Kong, Macao, Osaka, Nha Trang and Seoul, respectively. It's estimated that there will be 46 flights per week from Sunan Shuofang, rebounding to 55% of the 2019 level.

Starting from July 12, Yancheng Nanyang International Airport will resume flight to Seoul on Wednesdays, with departure and arrival times at 16:30 and 19:10, respectively. The return flight departs from Seoul at 14:45 and lands in Yancheng at 15:30.

In addition, Nanjing Lukou International Airport will resume direct long-haul flights with Sydney, offering three round-trip flights per week. The departure time is 19:10 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and the arrival time is 8:00 the next day. The return flight departs from Sydney at 12:00 on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (adjusted to 13:00 from September 30) and arrives in Nanjing at 21:25.
