Xuanwu District in Nanjing and Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group jointly announced on March 31 their plan to establish the Jiangsu Central Asia Centre in the district.
The two sides aim to leverage their strengths to foster cooperation with countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, and promote trade, cultural exchanges and talent collaboration between the province and the five Central Asian countries.
The centre is set to include four zones dedicated to product exhibition and sales, trade services, technology exchange and cultural exhibition.
Furthermore, the Jiangsu Central Asia Centre will support cross-border e-commerce through domestic warehouses near the borders of the five countries, overseas warehouses, and international freight trains.
