The legal representative of Jiangsu Asieris Pharmaceuticals Co Ltd, a foreign national, has acquired an electronic business license through remote application, becoming the first in Taizhou City to utilize this streamlined service.

In December 2023, the company’s administration head Ye Zhenghua visited the Government Service Center of Taizhou City to inquire about the process of applying for an electronic business license while the legal representative was abroad.

According to regulations, if the legal representative of a company is a foreign national and lacks face recognition data in the system, the identification documents must be presented in person for verification before a QR code is scanned for the downloading of the e-version of business license.

To facilitate the process for foreign nationals, the service center initiated a three-way video meeting where the legal representative authorized a delegate to submit the application. A link was then sent to the legal representative to fill in the required information and complete the verification. Following this, the electronic business license was downloaded and issued, typically within about 30 minutes.
