Taizhou City, depicted in the travel notes of Italian explorer Marco Polo more than 700 years ago, launched its new tourism program New Travelogues of Marco Polos on September 26.
10 foreigners from countries including Spain, the UK, the US, South Africa and Indonesia will be the new Marco Polos and help present the city which is recognized as a beautiful and pleasant place to live in.

The program is jointly organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Taizhou Municipal People's Government, Taizhou People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Taizhou Culture and Tourism Group.
The launch ceremony included the announcement of "10 things you must do in Taizhou" through amusing crosstalk. The travel guide is available in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. Taizhou also recommended three trave routes centering on its culture, ancient buildings and water-town charm respectively.
