The 20th Jiangsu Provincial Games closed on September 5 in Taizhou City. The quadrennial sporting event has discovered and nurtured young talents, boosted the public fitness campaign, and also showcased the progress achieved in the province’s sports sector.

The provincial games with 107 events attracted 34,000 participants from 13 cities, higher-education institutions and industry associations. The setting of sports and events was in line with the Olympic Games and National Games. The provincial games also added new events including rock climbing, skateboarding, karate and equestrian.
