Jingjiang Port handled 112.8 million tonnes of cargo in the first half of this year, accounting for a record high of 62.3% of the total throughput in Taizhou Port.
Foreign trade freight handled through Jingjiang Port totaled 5.137 million tonnes in the six months.
The main freights are in five types - mining and construction materials, coal and products, metal ores, grain and timber.
Amid the booming cargo transport by waterways in the COVID-19 fight and the competitive handling capacity, Jingjiang Port saw a rapid growth of metal ores throughput, which reached 30.578 million tonnes, up 20.3% year-on-year.
