Taizhou has set a record in Jiangsu Province as all of its 1,165 administrative villages are now equipped with at least two 5G base stations.
In Taizhou, the 5G initiative adopted an approach of "joint development and shared benefits," with the participation of four telecom operators: China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Broadnet.
The province has launched a campaign to ensure comprehensive 5G coverage in all villages as part of its priority projects this year to improve people's livelihood. By the end of May, Jiangsu had built 212,000 5G base stations, including 8,270 in Taizhou.
