Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group recently completed custom clearance for the import of 23 tonnes of active pharmaceutical ingredients from Norway through Taizhou Port, marking the Taizhou Import Port for Medical Products comes into service.
On August 31 this year, Taizhou Port was granted the status of import port for medical products, following the other three locations in Nanjing, Suzhou and Wuxi of Jiangsu Province.
In recent years, Taizhou has made active efforts to establish an efficient service system encompassing the entire biomedical chain. The city has set up the province's first legal service center dedicated to the healthcare sector and has collaborated with Nanjing Medical University to build a pharmaceutical industry research institute.
