Jiangsu's technology market remained at the forefront in China with 87,353 technology contracts registered in 2022 and the total volume of transactions at about 388.85 billion yuan, up 5.8% and 29% year-on-year, respectively, according to the province's work conference on technology transfer held in Nanjing on March 6.

Contracts on technology development accounted for nearly half of the total transactions. The top three fields in terms of transactions are advanced manufacturing, electronic information, and new materials. Enterprises continued to dominate the technology trading last year.

Furthermore, Jiangsu's universities released 3,708 scientific and technological achievements on the provincial technology market platform last year, with transactions at 13.58 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year.
