Changzhou City hosted the 2020 China-Israel Innovation Investment and Industrial Cooperation Conference on September 24, when eight projects signed agreement for cooperation.
The event included keynote speeches, panel discussions and project road shows to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Changzhou mayor Chen Jinhu said the Changzhou is one of the earliest cities to carry out opening up in China and has also promoted international cooperation in many fields and at different levels. The city will continue to optimize the business environment and support the development of the China-Changzhou Israel Innovation Park to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
Edward Shapira, Consul General of Israel in Shanghai, said the park is gradually showing potential for boosting development thanks to the efforts of all parties and has become an important gateway for Israeli entrepreneurs to invest and expand business in China.
The park is the first experimental zone for innovation cooperation established by the two governments. Changzhou as the host city has made great efforts to develop the park into a flagship brand for innovation cooperation drive in the world.
