Hundreds of domestic and foreign experts and business leaders participated in the 2020 World Industrial and Energy Internet and International Industrial Equipment Expo that opened in Changzhou City on September 16.
Participants shared development insights and trend on hot topics, such as smart city and advanced manufacturing technology, in the event with the theme of "New Industry, New Energy, New Infrastructure, New Driving Force."
The expo until September 26 plans ten events and panel discussions. For the first time, this expo is held both online and offline, inviting industry experts to share their views via video conferencing and opening virtual exhibition halls powered by 3D and VR to connect with global resources.
At the main event, experts and scholars delivered speeches on the development of industrial software to build a manufacturing powerhouse, the collaborative development of future Internet and industrial Internet, energy Internet, and other cutting-edge technologies that will shape the future.
At the opening ceremony, Changzhou government and the State Grid’s Jiangsu branch signed a strategic agreement to accelerate the construction of green energy Internet.
The ceremony also saw the signing of agreements for 17 industrial and energy Internet projects, with a total investment of 6.88 billion yuan.
Changzhou, a manufacturing hub, is home to more than 50,000 SMEs in the process of technology transformation and industrial upgrading. By 2022, Changzhou's ten industrial clusters will include 10,000 enterprises and boast an industry scale of 1.5 trillion yuan.
